The ExportComments Chrome extension brings comment exporting directly into your browsing experience. No need to copy URLs, switch tabs, or navigate to a dashboard. Just click a button while you're browsing.
How It Works
Step 1: Install the Extension
Download the ExportComments Chrome extension from the Chrome Web Store. It's free and works on all plans.
Step 2: Log In
The extension uses your existing ExportComments account. Just log in on exportcomments.com in your browser, and the extension automatically detects your session. No API keys needed.
Step 3: Browse and Export
When you visit any supported page — a TikTok video, YouTube video, Instagram post, or X tweet — a floating ExportComments button appears in the corner. Click it to see export options.
Step 4: Choose Format and Export
Select your format (CSV, Excel, or JSON) and click Export. The export runs in the background. You'll get a notification when it's complete, and the file appears in your ExportComments dashboard.

Features
Auto-Detection
The extension automatically detects which platform you're on and shows the appropriate export options. No manual platform selection needed.
URL Auto-Fill
When you open the extension popup, the current page URL is automatically filled in if it's a supported platform. Just click export.
Recent Exports
The popup shows your 10 most recent exports with status indicators. Track ongoing exports without switching to the dashboard.
Background Processing
Exports run in the background. Continue browsing while your comments are being scraped. A Chrome notification pops up when the export finishes.

Tips
- Pin the extension icon in Chrome for quick access
- The floating button only appears on supported pages — it won't clutter other sites
- Use the popup's export feature if the floating button doesn't appear (some platform page layouts vary)
